The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived and circled the House seven times, then prayed two rakats. Waki said, meaning at the Station of Ibrahim. Then he went out to Safa.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter, "One who prays two rak'ahs of tawaf behind the station," hadith no. 1627, and elsewhere, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter clarifying that one in the state of ihram for umrah is not released from it by tawaf before sa'i, and so on, hadith no. 1234, from the hadith of Amr bin Dinar with the same chain.
