I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he finished his seven circuits, come and stand parallel to the Corner, then pray two units of prayer at the edge of the circumambulation area with no one between him and those circumambulating.Ibn Majah said, "This applies specifically to Mecca."

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ إذا فرغ من سبعه جاء حتى يحاذي بالركن فصلى ركعتين في حاشية المطاف وليس بينه وبين الطواف أحد قال ابن ماجة هذا بمكة خاصة
[Its chain is daif] Nasai narrated it in "Rites of Hajj," chapter "Where to pray the two rak'ahs of tawaf," no. 2962, from the hadith of Abu Usama with this wording, and Bukhari indicated its weakness.Kathir did not hear from his father, as shown by the narration of Ibn Uyayna (Abu Dawud, no. 2016), between which there is an unknown narrator. His father was not deemed reliable by anyone except Ibn Hibban, so he is of undetermined reliability.
