It is as if I can still see the gleam of perfume in the parting of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ hair three days later, while he was in the state of ihram.
حدثنا إسمعيل بن موسى حدثنا شريك عن أبي إسحق عن الأسود
كأني أرى وبيص الطيب في مفرق رسول الله ﷺ بعد ثلاثة وهو محرم
[Sahih] Related by Nasai, Rites of Hajj, chapter on the place of perfume, no. 2704, from the hadith of Sharik, with this wording. Abu Ishaq used an ambiguous form of transmission (an ana), as noted earlier, no. 46, just like his student, but he was corroborated by Ibrahim as found in Nasai, 5/140, no. 27030, and others. The hadith also has supporting narrations.
