The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection a banner will be raised for every traitor, proportionate to the extent of his treachery."
حدثنا عمران بن موسى الليثي حدثنا حماد بن زيد أنبأنا علي بن زيد بن جدعان عن أبي نضرة
قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا إنه ينصب لكل غادر لواء يوم القيامة بقدر غدرته
[Sahih] Narrated by Tirmidhi, in the Book of Tribulations, chapter on what the Prophet told his companions about what would happen until the Day of Resurrection, hadith no. 2191, from Imran bin Musa, in full length, and he said, hasan sahih. Busiri graded it daif because of the weakness of Ali bin Zayd bin Jadan, mentioned earlier at hadith no. 116, but he was corroborated by Mustamirr bin Rayyan and others, as found in Muslim, hadith no. 1738, and elsewhere.Note, the hadith of Tirmidhi in its full length was not established as sahih in my view, as I have verified in my Takhrij al-Nihayah fi al-Fitan wal-Malahim, hadith no. 38.
