The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no retaliation for a head wound that reaches the brain membrane, nor for a wound that penetrates the body cavity, nor for one that breaks and dislodges bone."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا قود في المأمومة ولا الجائفة ولا المنقلة
[Its chain is daif]Bayhaqi related it, 8/65, via Abu Yaala, from Abu Kurayb, with the same wording. Busiri said, this chain is daif. Rushdin bin Saad was declared daif by Ibn Main, Abu Hatim Razi, Abu Zura, Nasai, Ibn Hibban, Juzjani, Ibn Yunus, Ibn Saad, Abu Dawud, Daraqutni, and others.It has a daif corroborating narration in Matalib Aliyah.Bayhaqi also related, with a hasan chain, from Talha, who raised it to the Prophet, "There is no retaliation for a head wound that exposes the brain."
