A man struck another man on the forearm with a sword and severed it at a place other than a joint. The injured man brought his complaint before the Prophet ﷺ, who ordered that he be given the blood-money.He said, "Messenger of Allah, I want retaliation."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Take the blood-money, may Allah bless you in it," and he did not rule in favor of retaliation for him.
