Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Blood Money, chapter on what has been said about blood money, how many dirhams it amounts to, hadith no. 1388, from Ibn Bashar, with this wording. Nasai said, "Muhammad bin Muslim is not strong in hadith, and this is an error. The correct view is that it is transmitted from Ikrima as a mursal report."I say, rather he is truthful, and his hadith is hasan, and he is among the narrators of Muslim and others. Abu Dawud narrated it, hadith no. 4546, through his route, with this wording.
