The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the day of the conquest of Mecca upon the steps of the Kaabah. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then said, "Praise be to Allah, who fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and alone defeated the confederates. Indeed, the victim of unintentional killing, the one slain by a whip or a staff, his blood-money is one hundred camels, forty of which must be pregnant she-camels carrying their young in their wombs. Indeed, every claim to honor from the days of ignorance, and every blood feud, lies beneath these two feet of mine, except for the custodianship of the House and the providing of water to the pilgrims. These two I confirm for their rightful holders as they have been."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قام يوم فتح مكة وهو على درج الكعبة فحمد الله وأثنى عليه فقال الحمد لله الذي صدق وعده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده ألا إن قتيل الخطإ قتيل السوط والعصا فيه مائة من الإبل منها أربعون خلفة في بطونها أولادها ألا إن كل مأثرة كانت في الجاهلية ودم تحت قدمي هاتين إلا ما كان من سدانة البيت وسقاية الحاج ألا إني قد أمضيتهما لأهلهما كما كانا
Its chain of transmission is daif. Abu Dawud recorded it in the Book of Blood Money, Chapter on the blood money for accidental killing resembling intentional killing, no. 4549, from the hadith of Ibn Jadan, through him, and he is daif, and also from the hadith of Ibn Uyayna, through him, as a suspended report, and it has supporting narrations, including the preceding hadith.
