The Prophet ﷺ said, "The victim of unintentional killing that resembles intentional killing, such as one killed by a whip or a stick, requires one hundred camels in blood-money, forty of which must be pregnant females carrying their young in their wombs."Muhammad bin Yahya narrated to us, Sulayman bin Harb narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us from Khalid Haddan, from Qasim bin Rabia, from Uqba bin Aws, from Abdullah bin Amr, from the Prophet ﷺ, a similar report.

عن النبي ﷺ قال قتيل الخطإ شبه العمد قتيل السوط والعصا مائة من الإبل أربعون منها خلفة في بطونها أولادها حدثنا محمد بن يحيى حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن خالد الحذاء عن القاسم بن ربيعة عن عقبة بن أوس عن عبد الله بن عمرو عن النبي ﷺ نحوه
(A) [Sahih] Nasai narrated it in Qasamah, chapter "How much is the blood money for quasi-intentional killing, etc.", hadith 7905, from Ibn Bashar, through this route.Takhrij: (B) [Sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in Diyat, chapter on the blood money for accidental quasi-intentional killing, hadith 4547, from the hadith of Sulayman, through this route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (Mawarid, hadith 1526), as did Ibn Jarud (hadith 773) and Ibn Qattan Fasi (Talkhis Habir 4/15).
