I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no amputation upon the snatcher."

[Sahih] Mizzi transmitted it in Tahzib Kamal (page 3 (1215)) from the hadith of Muhammad bin Asim with this wording, and Hafiz graded it sahih in Talkhis, 4/66, hadith no. 1775, as did Busiri, though it contains Zuhri's ambiguous transmission using "an," as already mentioned, hadith no. 707, and the preceding hadith serves as a corroborating witness for it.
