[Its isnad is daif] Bukhari narrated it in Tarikh al-Kabir 8/328 from the hadith of Marwan bin Muawiya Fazari through this route, and Busiri graded it daif because of Yusuf bin Maymun Makhzumi. But his student Abu Malik Nakhai is even weaker than him, since he is discarded. See hadith no. 1915.Neither of them was alone in narrating it, for Shuba narrated it from Yazid bin Abu Khalid from Abu Ubayda through this route. Bukhari narrated it in his Tarikh, and Bayhaqi narrated it, 6/33-34, as did others, and its chain is daif. See hadith no. 1807. It also contains another defect.
