The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever owns palm trees or land should not sell them until he first offers them to his partner."
حدثنا هشام بن عمار ومحمد بن الصباح قالا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن أبي الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ من كانت له نخل أو أرض فلا يبيعها حتى يعرضها على شريكه
[Its chain is sahih] Nasai narrated it in Buyu, Sharaka fin-Nakhl, no. 4704, from the hadith of Sufyan, through him (Sufyan bin Uyayna and Abu Zubayr both explicitly stated that they heard it directly, as recorded by Humaydi, no. 1281, in my edition). Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 641. Muslim also narrated it, no. 1608, through two other routes from Abu Zubayr, with a similar meaning.
