Ayesha reported,

"Messenger of Allah, what is the thing that may not be withheld?"He replied, "Water, salt, and fire."She said, "Messenger of Allah, we understand about water, but what about salt and fire?"He answered, "Humayra, whoever gives fire is as though he has given in charity everything that fire cooks. Whoever gives salt is as though he has given in charity everything that salt seasons. Whoever gives a Muslim a drink of water where water is available is as though he has freed a Raqaba, and whoever gives a Muslim a drink of water where water is not available is as though he has brought him back to life."

يا رسول الله ما الشيء الذي لا يحل منعه قال الماء والملح والنار قالت قلت يا رسول الله هذا الماء قد عرفناه فما بال الملح والنار قال يا حميراء من أعطى نارا فكأنما تصدق بجميع ما أنضجت تلك النار ومن أعطى ملحا فكأنما تصدق بجميع ما طيب ذلك الملح ومن سقى مسلما شربة من ماء حيث يوجد الماء فكأنما أعتق رقبة ومن سقى مسلما شربة من ماء حيث لا يوجد الماء فكأنما أحياها
