The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Three things must not be withheld from anyone: water, pasture, and fire."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن يزيد حدثنا سفيان عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ثلاث لا يمنعن الماء والكلأ والنار
[Sahih]. Ibn Hajar graded it sahih in Talkhis, 3/65, no. 1304, as did Busiri and Ibn Mulaqqin, no. 310. Ibn Kathir said (Waqiah, 73, 4/318) that its chain of transmission is good. I say, Ibn Uyayna used the form "an" without stating direct transmission. See no. 2113. This hadith has supporting narrations, including what Abu Dawud recorded, no. 3477, with the wording, "Muslims share equally in three things, water, pasture, and fire," and its chain of transmission is sahih.Ammar bin Khalid Wasiti told us,
