One of us lends his brother some money, and then he gives him a gift. He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you grants a loan and the borrower then offers him a gift or lets him ride his mount, he should neither ride it nor accept the gift, unless such an exchange was customary between them beforehand."
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا إسمعيل بن عياش حدثني عتبة بن حميد الضبي عن يحيى بن أبي إسحق الهنائي قال
الرجل منا يقرض أخاه المال فيهدي له قال قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا أقرض أحدكم قرضا فأهدى له أو حمله على الدابة فلا يركبها ولا يقبله إلا أن يكون جرى بينه وبينه قبل ذلك

Its chain of transmission is daif. Bayhaqi reported it, 5/350, from the hadith of Hisham, with this chain, and he quoted from Mamari that the statement "Yahya bin Abu Ishaq Hinai" is a mistake. He reported it through the route of Saeed bin Mansur, who said, Ismail narrated to us, with this chain, and in it, "Yazid bin Abu Yahya." Uqbah bin Humayd was not Syrian, and Ismail's narration from non-Syrians is daif. See also number 595.
