The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in a sermon he delivered, "It is not permissible for a woman to dispose of her wealth without her husband's permission, once he holds the bond of marriage over her."
حدثنا أبو يوسف الرقي محمد بن أحمد الصيدلاني حدثنا محمد بن سلمة عن المثنى بن الصباح
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال في خطبة خطبها لا يجوز لامرأة في مالها إلا بإذن زوجها إذا هو ملك عصمتها
Sourcing, sahih. Muthanna was not the only one to narrate it, rather Dawud bin Abu Hind and Habib al-Muallim also narrated it, following him, from Amr, with the same wording. Abu Dawud transmitted it, H: 3546, and others as well, and Hakim graded it sahih, 2/47, as did Dhahabi.
