The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah brighten the face of a man who hears a hadith from us and conveys it, for many a person to whom it is conveyed retains it better than the one who heard it."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار ومحمد بن الوليد قالا حدثنا محمد ابن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن سماك
عن النبي ﷺ قال نضر الله امرأ سمع منا حديثا فبلغه فرب مبلغ أحفظ من سامع
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Knowledge, chapter on encouraging the conveying of what is heard, no. 2657, from the hadith of Shubah through this route, and he said, hasan sahih, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih.
