The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no harm in exchanging one animal for two hand to hand," but he disliked it being done on credit.
حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد حدثنا حفص بن غياث وأبو خالد عن حجاج عن أبي الزبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا بأس بالحيوان واحدا باثنين يدا بيد وكرهه نسيئة
Its chain is daif. Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Business Transactions, chapter on the dislike of selling an animal for an animal on credit, hadith 1238, from the hadith of Hajjaj bin Artah, and he said, this is a hasan hadith. The preceding hadith serves in its place.
