The Prophet ﷺ purchased Safiyyah for seven slaves. Abdul-Rahman said, "From Dihya Kalbi."

أن النبي ﷺ اشترى صفية بسبعة أرؤس قال عبد الرحمن من دحية الكلبي
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Recorded by Abu Dawud, in the Kharaj, chapter on what has been mentioned regarding the special share, 2997, from the hadith of Hammad through this route, and Busiri graded it sahih, and its foundation is agreed upon.
