I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. It is not lawful for a Muslim to sell his brother goods containing a defect without disclosing it to him."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا وهب بن جرير حدثنا أبي سمعت يحيى بن أيوب يحدث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن عبد الرحمن بن شماسة
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول المسلم أخو المسلم لا يحل لمسلم باع من أخيه بيعا فيه عيب إلا بينه له
Muslim reported it in the Book of Marriage, Chapter "The Prohibition of Proposing to a Woman Already Proposed to by One's Brother Until He Grants Permission or Withdraws," hadith 1414, from the hadith of Yazid bin Abu Habib, through him, at greater length with different wordings, though the meaning is the same.
