The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The warranty period for a slave is three days."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن سعيد عن قتادة عن الحسن إن شاء الله
قال رسول الله ﷺ عهدة الرقيق ثلاثة أيام
[Its chain is daif]. Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir (7/210, no. 6874) from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numayr (and others) with this wording. See hadiths 429 and 175 for its two defects. It has a daif corroborating narration, see the following hadith.
