The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade taking the price of a dog and the stud fee for a male animal's mating.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن ثمن الكلب وعسب الفحل
[Sahih]. Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Business Transactions, Chapter on the dislike of the price of a dog and a cat, hadith no. 1279, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Fudayl, mentioned as a mualaq narration. Abu Hatim Razi criticized it in his Ilal, hadith no. 2834, on account of the chain.
