The Prophet ﷺ forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee paid to a fortune-teller.
حدثنا هشام بن عمار ومحمد بن الصباح قالا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن
أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن ثمن الكلب ومهر البغي وحلوان الكاهن
Bukhari narrated it in "Divorce," chapter on the wages of a prostitute and an invalid marriage, no. 5346, and Muslim narrated it in "Sharecropping," chapter on the prohibition of the price of a dog, the fee of a soothsayer, and the wages of a prostitute, and the prohibition of selling cats, no. 1567, from the hadith of Sufyan through this same chain.
