Ibn Majah 2161

[Sahih] Nasai reported it, 7/190, 191, Hunting, Permission Regarding the Price of a Hunting Dog, no. 4300, and Bayhaqi, 6/6, through two routes from Hammad bin Salama, from Abu Zubayr, in a longer form. Nasai noted a flaw in it, and see no. 395 for its fatal flaw. However, Muslim reported it, no. 1569, through another route from Abu Zubayr, who said, "I asked Jabir about the price of a dog and a cat." He said, "The Prophet ﷺ forbade that." With this, the hadith is confirmed as sahih.
