The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The wedding feast on the first day is an obligation, on the second day it is a kindness, and on the third day it is showing off and seeking reputation."

قال رسول الله ﷺ الوليمة أول يوم حق والثاني معروف والثالث رياء وسمعة
[Its chain of transmission is extremely daif] Busiri said, its chain includes Abu Malik Nakhai, who is among those unanimously agreed to be daif. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Abu Dawud, no. 3745, and elsewhere, but all of them are daif.
