The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is invited to a wedding feast, he should accept the invitation."
حدثنا إسحق بن منصور أنبأنا عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا دعي أحدكم إلى وليمة عرس فليجب
Reported by Muslim, Nikah, the preceding chapter, no. 1429, from the hadith of Ibn Numayr with this chain, and Bukhari, no. 5173, and Muslim, no. 1429, both reported it from the hadith of Malik from Nafi with this chain, with similar meaning.
