The Prophet ﷺ said, "For every thirty cattle, a one-year-old male or female calf is due, and for every forty, a two-year-old female."
حدثنا سفيان بن وكيع حدثنا عبد السلام بن حرب عن خصيف عن أبي عبيدة
أن النبي ﷺ قال في ثلاثين من البقر تبيع أو تبيعة وفي أربعين مسنة
[Its chain is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on the zakat of cattle, no. 622, from the hadith of Abdul-Salam, and he was criticized regarding it. See also no. 1606 and 1478. Khaseef is daif, as mentioned previously, no. 1173. The hadith has corroborating narrations, including the preceding hadith.
