The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not righteousness to fast while traveling."
حدثنا محمد بن المصفى الحمصي حدثنا محمد بن حرب عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليس من البر الصيام في السفر
[Sahih] Reported by Tahawi in Maani al-Athar (2/63) from the hadith of Muhammad bin Musaffa, through this route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih in Mawarid (hadith no. 912) from the hadith of Muhammad bin Musaffa, as did Busiri.
