The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up for a funeral procession, so we stood as well, and when he sat down, we sat down.
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن محمد بن المنكدر عن مسعود بن الحكم
قام رسول الله ﷺ لجنازة فقمنا حتى جلس فجلسنا
Muslim recorded it in the Book of Funerals, chapter on the abrogation of standing for the funeral, hadith no. 962, from the hadith of Shubah, through this same chain.
