A funeral procession passed by the Prophet ﷺ, so he stood up and said, "Stand, for death is indeed terrifying."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وهناد بن السري قالا حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
مر على النبي ﷺ بجنازة فقام وقال قوموا فإن للموت فزعا
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ahmad narrated it: 2/287, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, and Busiri graded it sahih.
