"Tell me a hadith that Allah may benefit me through."He remained silent. I repeated the request, but he stayed silent. I asked three times, then he said to me, "You must prostrate to Allah, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There is no servant who prostrates to Allah a single prostration except that Allah raises him a degree by it and removes a sin from him by it.'"Madan said, I then met Abu al-Darda and asked him, and he said the same thing.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on the Excellence of Sujud and Encouragement to Perform It, 488, from the hadith of Walid, with the wording, "Make frequent sujud to Allah, for you will not perform a single sajdah for Allah without Allah raising you a degree because of it and removing a sin from you because of it."
