Asma bint Abu Bakr reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the eclipse prayer. He stood and prolonged his standing, then bowed and prolonged his bowing, then rose and stood and prolonged his standing, then bowed and prolonged his bowing, then rose, then prostrated and prolonged his prostration, then rose, then prostrated and prolonged his prostration. Then he stood and prolonged his standing, then bowed and prolonged his bowing, then rose and stood and prolonged his standing, then bowed and prolonged his bowing, then rose, then prostrated and prolonged his prostration, then rose, then prostrated and prolonged his prostration.Then he finished and said, "Paradise was brought so close to me that, had I dared, I could have brought you a cluster of its fruit. And the Fire was brought so close to me that I cried out, 'My Lord, am I to be among them?'"Nafi said, I think he said, "And I saw a woman being scratched by a cat of hers, so I asked, 'What is the matter with this one?' They replied, 'She confined it until it died of hunger. She neither fed it nor released it to eat from the creatures of the earth.'"

حدثنا محرز بن سلمة العدني قال حدثنا نافع بن عمر الجمحي عن ابن أبي مليكة

عن أسماء بنت أبي بكر قالت

صلى رسول الله ﷺ صلاة الكسوف فقام فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع فقام فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع ثم سجد فأطال السجود ثم رفع ثم سجد فأطال السجود ثم رفع فقام فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع فقام فأطال القيام ثم ركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع ثم سجد فأطال السجود ثم رفع ثم سجد فأطال السجود ثم انصرف فقال لقد دنت مني الجنة حتى لو اجترأت عليها لجئتكم بقطاف من قطافها ودنت مني النار حتى قلت أي رب وأنا فيهم قال نافع حسبت أنه قال ورأيت امرأة تخدشها هرة لها فقلت ما شأن هذه قالوا حبستها حتى ماتت جوعا لا هي أطعمتها ولا هي أرسلتها تأكل من خشاش الأرض
