The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the eclipse prayer, and we did not hear his voice.

[Its chain is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the chapter on the prayer of seeking rain, section titled "Whoever said four cycles of prayer," hadith no. 1184, from the hadith of Aswad, at length. Tirmidhi, Ibn Khuzayma, Ibn Hibban, Hakim, Dhahabi, and Ibn Hajar Asqalani all graded it sahih, and I have not seen any argument for those who weakened it.
