A scorpion stung the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying, so he said, "May Allah curse the scorpion. It spares neither the one praying nor anyone else. Kill it, whether inside the sacred precincts or outside them."

[Hasan] Ibn Adi narrated it in Kamil, and said, "I do not know it except through the hadith of Hakam from Qatada." Busiri said, "This chain is daif due to the weakness of Hakam bin Abdul-Malik, but Hakam was not the only one who narrated it." Sindi said, "Ibn Khuzayma narrated it in his Sahih, from Muhammad bin Bashshar, from Muhammad bin Jafar, from Shubah, from Qatada, with the same wording."
