I would never come upon the Prophet ﷺ in the last part of the night except that he was sleeping beside me. Waki said, "She means after the witr prayer."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن مسعر وسفيان عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن
ما كنت ألفي أو ألقى النبي ﷺ من آخر الليل إلا وهو نائم عندي قال وكيع تعني بعد الوتر
Bukhari narrated it in tahajjud, chapter on one who sleeps at dawn, no. 1133, from the hadith of Saad, through him, and Muslim narrated it in prayer of the traveler, the preceding chapter, no. 742, from the hadith of Masaar, through him.
