Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ missed the four units of prayer before Dhuhr, he would perform them after the two units that follow Dhuhr.Abu Abdullah said, "No one narrated this except Qays from Shuba."

[Daif] Tirmidhi transmitted it, no. 426, through Abdullah bin Mubarak, from Khalid Haddan, with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib.Qays is daif according to the majority, and he alone reported the phrase "he prayed it after the two rakahs after Dhuhr," while Ibn Mubarak did not mention it.
