The Prophet ﷺ used to pray four units before Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith, without separating them with a final salam, and he said, "The gates of heaven are opened when the sun passes its zenith."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن عبيدة بن معتب الضبي عن إبراهيم عن سهم بن منجاب عن قزعة عن قرثع
أن النبي ﷺ كان يصلي قبل الظهر أربعا إذا زالت الشمس لا يفصل بينهن بتسليم وقال إن أبواب السماء تفتح إذا زالت الشمس
[Its chain is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Voluntary Prayers, Chapter on the Four (units) Before and After Dhuhr, Hadith 1270, from the hadith of Ubayda, and he said, "Ubayda is daif." Ibn Khuzayma also declared it daif in his Sahih, Hadith 1214.
