The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Might it be that one of you takes a small flock of sheep to a hilltop a mile or two away, and when grazing becomes scarce he moves higher up. Then Friday comes and he does not come down to attend it, and another Friday comes and he does not attend it, and another Friday comes and he does not attend it, until his heart is sealed."

[Its chain is daif]Hakim narrated it, 292/1, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Bashshar with this chain, and said, Sahih according to the criterion of Muslim. Ibn Khuzayma also graded it sahih, no. 1859. Busiri said, This chain is daif due to the weakness of Madi bin Sulayman. It has a corroborating report that is very daif in Abu Yaala, no. 2198, and another corroborating report in Tabarani's Awsat, 224–225/1, no. 338, whose chain is also daif, see Majma, 193/2. It has other corroborating reports in Munziri's Targheeb wal-Tarheeb, 509–512/1.
