He saw that whenever Malik bin Huwayrith prayed, he would say the takbir and raise his hands, and when he intended to bow, he raised his hands, and when he lifted his head from bowing, he raised his hands. He reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did the same.

أنه رأى مالك بن الحويرث إذا صلى كبر ورفع يديه وإذا أراد أن يركع رفع يديه وإذا رفع رأسه من الركوع رفع يديه وحدث أن رسول الله ﷺ صنع هكذا
