Abdullah bin Umar reported,

I saw the Prophet ﷺ open the prayer with the takbir, raising his hands as he said it until they were level with his shoulders. When he said the takbir for bowing, he did the same. When he said, "Allah hears whoever praises Him," he did the same and said, "Our Lord, to You belongs all praise." But he did not do so when he prostrated, nor when he raised his head from prostration.
