Abu Ishaq reported,

Someone asked al-Bara, while I was listening, "Did you turn and flee alongside the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Hunayn?"He replied, "As for the Prophet ﷺ, he did not flee. They were skilled archers. He was saying, 'I am the Prophet, this is no lie. I am the son of Abdul-Muttalib.'"
