When my father was killed, I began to weep and uncover the cloth from his face. The companions of the Prophet ﷺ kept telling me to stop, but the Prophet ﷺ did not forbid me. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not weep for him," or, "Why do you weep for him? The angels did not cease shading him with their wings until he was lifted up."
