He traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "From here come the trials, from the direction of the east. Harshness and hardness of heart are found among the loud-voiced herdsmen, the people of camel-hair tents, who stay by the tails of camels and cattle, among Rabia and Mudar."

يبلغ به النبي ﷺ قال من ها هنا جاءت الفتن نحو المشرق والجفاء وغلظ القلوب في الفدادين أهل الوبر عند أصول أذناب الإبل والبقر في ربيعة ومضر
