Anas bin Malik reported,

Wealth was brought to the Prophet ﷺ from Bahrain, and he said, "Spread it out in the mosque." It was the largest amount of wealth ever brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.Then Abbas came to him and said, "Messenger of Allah, give me some, for I paid a ransom for myself and a ransom for Aqeel."He said, "Take."So Abbas scooped up a quantity into his garment, then tried to lift it but could not. He said, "Order someone to help me lift it onto me."The Prophet ﷺ said, "No."Abbas said, "Then you lift it onto me."He said, "No."So Abbas poured some of it out, then tried to lift it but still could not raise it. He said, "Then order someone to help me lift it onto me."He said, "No."Abbas said, "Then you lift it onto me."He said, "No."So he poured some more of it out, then hoisted it onto his shoulder and went off. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept following him with his gaze until he disappeared from our sight, marveling at his eagerness. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not rise until not a single dirham of it remained.
