When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned on the day of the Trench, he laid down his weapons and bathed. Then Jibril came to him with dust still covering his head and said, "Have you laid down your weapons? By Allah, I have not laid mine down."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Where then?"Jibril replied, "Over here," and he pointed toward Banu Qurayza.She said, So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to them.
حدثنا محمد بن سلام أخبرنا عبدة عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ لما رجع يوم الخندق ووضع السلاح واغتسل فأتاه جبريل وقد عصب رأسه الغبار فقال وضعت السلاح فوالله ما وضعته فقال رسول الله ﷺ فأين قال ها هنا وأومأ إلى بني قريظة قالت فخرج إليهم رسول الله ﷺ
