When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Madinah, he had no servant. Abu Talha took me by the hand and led me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, Anas is a clever boy, let him serve you."So I served him during travel and at home. He never said to me about anything I did, "Why did you do this in this way?" Nor about anything I failed to do, "Why did you not do this in this way?"

قدم رسول الله ﷺ المدينة ليس له خادم فأخذ أبو طلحة بيدي فانطلق بي إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إن أنسا غلام كيس فليخدمك قال فخدمته في السفر والحضر ما قال لي لشيء صنعته لم صنعت هذا هكذا ولا لشيء لم أصنعه لم لم تصنع هذا هكذا
