The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever Umar takes a path, Satan takes a different path."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما سلك عمر فجا إلا سلك الشيطان فجا غيره.
Ibn Abu Asim narrated it in Sunnah (1295), and Bazzar (9088), both through different routes, from Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad (that is, Darawardi), from Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.Its chain is hasan on account of Darawardi and Suhayl bin Abu Salih, for their narrations are graded hasan.
