Umar bin Khattab came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while some women were with him, raising their voices over the voice of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When Umar asked permission to enter, they hurried behind the curtain. He then mentioned something similar to the earlier hadith of Saad bin Abu Waqqas.
Muslim narrated it in the Virtues of the Companions (2397), from Harun bin Maruf, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad narrated it to us, Suhayl informed me, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Muslim did not give the full wording, but rather referred back to the preceding hadith of Saad bin Abu Waqqas, saying, "He related something similar to the hadith of Suhayl," meaning Zuhri, from Abdul-Hameed bin Abdul-Rahman bin Zayd, that Muhammad bin Saad bin Abu Waqqas informed him that his father Saad said, and then he related the hadith.
