I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The best of the Followers is a man called Uways. He has a mother, and he had a patch of white skin. Ask him to seek forgiveness for you."
إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: إن خير التابعين رجل يقال له: أويس، وله والدة وكان به بياض، فمروه فليستغفر لكم.
Muslim narrated it in al-Fadail (2542-224) through several routes from Affan bin Muslim, who said, Hammad, that is, Ibn Salama, narrated to us, from Saeed Jariri, from Abu Nadra, from Usayr bin Jabir, from Umar bin Khattab, who said, and then he mentioned it.
