Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out during the illness in which he died, wearing a cloak, with a dark-colored band tied around his head, until he sat on the pulpit. He praised Allah and glorified Him, then said,"To proceed. People are increasing in number, while the Ansar are decreasing, until they will be among the people like salt in food. So whoever among you takes charge of any matter in which he can harm some people and benefit others, let him accept from those who do good among them and overlook the faults of those who err."That was the last gathering at which the Prophet ﷺ sat.
